What exactly is Purova?

Are the sheets fragranced?
Yes. The Macaron scent is light and fresh rather than perfumed, so laundry smells clean without being overpowering.
HOW TO USE
How do I use the detergent sheets?
- Tear a sheet along the perforation to give you two strips
- Place the strip on top of your laundry in the drum, not in the detergent drawer
- Start the wash
How many should I use?
- Light load: 1 strip, which is half a sheet
- Fuller drum or heavily soiled washing: 2 strips, which is one whole sheet
A box of 50 sheets gives you 100 strips, which covers roughly three to six months of laundry depending on your loads.
How does the cost compare?
From 9p a wash for a light load, up to 18p for a full one. Branded laundry capsules typically sit between 25p and 40p each, so you get the same pre-measured convenience for less.
Can I use them in cold water and HE machines?
Yes. They dissolve at all temperatures and are safe for HE machines and septic systems.
How about for handwashing?
Dissolve a strip in the water before adding your clothes. For best results, soak items for 20 minutes before washing.
And the dryer sheets?
Just toss one in with your clothes. Two if you want extra softness or you're drying a big load of towels.
SENSITIVE SKIN & STORAGE
Are your products gentle on sensitive skin?
Yes. The detergent sheets are dermatologist-tested, with no harsh chemicals, brighteners or parabens, and are suitable for babies, pregnancy and sensitive skin.
Are they safe around kids and pets?
Keep them out of reach of children and pets and store the box closed, as you would any laundry detergent. If a sheet is swallowed, contact your doctor or vet.
How should I store them?
In a cool, dry place. Reseal the box to keep moisture out. Avoid direct sunlight or damp conditions.

Are the products biodegradable?
The sheets are made with biodegradable surfactants and plant-based cleansers, and dissolve quickly in the wash. They are free from phosphates and optical brighteners.
Are they travel-friendly?
Very. They're dry, flat and featherlight, and the whole box weighs 169g. Ideal for suitcases, backpacks, Airbnbs or hostel laundromats.
Is your packaging recyclable?
Yes. The boxes are recyclable, FSC-certified cardboard, compact by design, with no plastic jug and no plastic fluff.
