How many sheets do I use?

Each sheet tears into two strips. Use one strip for a light load and two for a fuller drum or heavily soiled washing. A box of 50 sheets gives you 100 strips, which covers roughly three to six months of laundry depending on your loads.

How does the cost compare?

From 9p a wash for a light load, up to 18p for a full one. Branded laundry capsules typically sit between 25p and 40p each, so you get the same pre-measured convenience for less.

How do I use them?

Put the strip on top of your laundry in the drum, not in the detergent drawer, then run your usual cycle. For hand washing, dissolve it in the water before adding your clothes.

Do they work in a cold wash?

Yes. They dissolve at 20C as well as on a hot cycle, and work on whites, colours and delicates.

What about hard water?

They're designed to work in hard water as well as soft. If you're in a hard water area and running a full drum, use two strips.

Will they leave residue on dark clothes?

They're made to dissolve fully. On a short cold cycle with a very full drum, put the strip into the empty drum first and load your clothes on top, so it has room to dissolve.

Are they gentle on sensitive skin?

Do I still need fabric softener?

The sheets clean rather than soften. If you like your washing soft, add one of our dryer sheets or a capful of conditioner.
